Located just a 10-minute walk from Aguinaldo Highway, the journey to the studio is a rejuvenating experience, with scenic views and invigorating air enhancing your arrival.

A Sanctuary for Your Practice

At Ann Yoga Studio, the atmosphere is as important as the practice itself. The studio provides a quiet, clean environment that fosters deep connection and self-discovery. The vision is to illuminate the path to your true self through the guidance of yoga, a philosophy beautifully articulated by founder Mary Ann Okada.

Meet Mary Ann Okada

Mary Ann Okada’s journey with yoga began in 2012, marking the start of a transformative path. Born in the Philippines, Mary Ann has traveled the world to deepen her practice and knowledge. Her exploration took her to various studios and countries, from the Ashtanga Vinyasa School in Manila to Samatva Yogalaya in Rishikesh, India, where she earned her RYT 300 Traditional Hatha Yoga certification.

In January 2022, Mary Ann achieved the prestigious E-RYT500 certification from Yoga Alliance, solidifying her expertise in yoga instruction. Her diverse training spans multiple styles, including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Kundalini, and Yin Yoga. Her experiences have shaped her understanding of yoga’s healing potential, fueling her dedication to helping others find well-being.

From English Tutor to Yoga Teacher

Before embarking on her yoga journey, Mary Ann was a home-based English tutor to Japanese nationals, a role that led to physical discomfort and health issues from prolonged computer use. Yoga became her remedy, offering relief and igniting a sense of calmness and joy. Her transformation was profound, as she discovered the boundless possibilities yoga offers for enhancing overall health and well-being.

A Global Practice

Mary Ann’s yoga journey has taken her across the globe, enriching her practice with a variety of influences:

India: Samatva Yogalaya in Rishikesh, focusing on Traditional Hatha Yoga.

Philippines: Beyond Yoga Alabang (Vinyasa, Ashtanga), Breath Yoga Nuvali (Power Vinyasa, Hatha, Kundalini), Yoga Plus Makati (Jivamukti Yoga), Evolve Yoga Alabang (Yin Yoga), and Sonya’s Garden (Kundalini Yoga Women’s Camp).
